Description And Comments

Character greeting area for Anna and Elsa from the 2013 movie, Frozen. Guests enter a small cottage that has been covered in snow.

Touring Tips

These are interactive "face" characters from an insanely popular franchise, so the greetings are not quick. Since there is no time to see the ladies from Frozen without a long wait, visiting Anna and Elsa is in no way part of an "efficient" touring plan.

As of September 2014, Disney has shut down the standby queue and instead distributes only FASTPASS tickets to meet Anna and Elsa. FASTPASS is first come first serve and we have observed tickets running out in as little as one hour after park opening. After obtaining a FASTPASS guests are given a 20 minute return window. Disney does not grant requests for specific times. FASTPASS tickets for the Frozen meet and greet are tied to the park tickets that originally obtained them and cannot be passed to other guests.

If your party would like to meet Anna and Elsa, you need to be ready to dedicate a significant amount of time. The total time spent in line can be from 1 to 2 hours, even with the new FASTPASS procedures Disney has put in place. The line for Anna and Elsa starts in Disneyland's Hub (look for a Disney cast member holding a Frozen sign) before park opening. As soon as the park officially opens for the day, the line of guests waiting for Frozen FASTPASSes will be brought in to Fantasyland and then lined up again to actually obtain the FASTPASS tickets. We've observed that this line can take anywhere from 30 minutes to over an hour. When the time on your FASTPASS arrives you can also expect to wait another 30 to 60 minutes in line before you meet the princesses.

Best Way To Get There

The Frozen meet and greet is located in Fantasyland. From the front of the park head down Main Street USA and walk through Sleeping Beauty Castle. Walk past the left side of the Carrousel and the meet and greet location will be on your left, next to Pinocchio's Daring Journey.

Special Comments

Listen to the amusing animatronic snowman (Olaf from the movie) perched on the roof.
