Summary

Based on the diner from the George Lucas movie American Graffiti, Mel’s has several vintage automobiles in the parking lot for photo ops. Check out the license plates for some fun references. During Halloween Horror Nights, the neon lights in the Mel’s Drive-in sign are creatively changed to Mel’s Die-in.

Over half the menu lists some combination of hamburger patty, cheese, and bacon, with fries. The food is as bland as the selection. Root beer floats and onion rings are the best bets on the menu, but we wouldn’t make a special trip here for anything.

House Specialties

Hamburgers, cheeseburgers, vegan burgers, chicken fingers, grilled chicken sandwich, grilled chicken salad, fries, onion rings, and ice cream floats.
