Events, Parties, Holidays and Thanksgiving

by Fred Hazelton

Pay special attention to the “Overall Resort and Special Events” in November. You’ll see Halloween and Christmas Parties, Festivals, Running Races and Holidays. Thanksgiving will bring the largest crowds since July 4th. Avoid Epcot on Weekends unless you’re there for the Food & Wine Festival.

The Crowd Calendar Is Based On Wait Times

Our Unofficial Guide researchers have collected wait times in Walt Disney World for over a decade. Thanks to our mobile app, we get hundreds of wait times daily from our fabulous users. With this dataset our statisticians update the calendar every week.

What The Numbers Mean

The crowd level is based on a scale from 1 to 10, with 1 being the least crowded and 10 being most crowded. The scale represents the average wait time between 10am and 5pm at the key attractions. Read more on Crowd Levels.
