Summary

With seating for 200, Boatwright’s covers all the bases: steaks, chops, ribs, pasta, and vegetarian, with a little Cajun flair (crawfish bites, fried oysters, barbecued shrimp) thrown in. Because it’s the only table-service restaurant in Port Orleans, there can be waits, so settle in with a Louisiana-brewed Abita beer.

Setting and Atmosphere

This cavernous, casual dining room is meant to serve the masses. Wooden tables are set with a boatwright’s tool kit that contains condiments; a giant skeleton of a riverboat completes the theme.

Sweet tea–brined pork chop, jambalaya with chicken and andouille sausage. Great desserts.
