Cost range $16-$45 (child $12-$16)
Predictable menu with a little bit of everything you’d expect in a bustling Italian restaurant: pizza, pasta, meat, seafood. Il Mulino is perfect for conventioneers—and there appear to be many of them sharing the big tables—but adventurous eaters may want to go elsewhere.
Setting and Atmosphere
A spin-off of the New York City restaurant, Il Mulino takes an upscale-casual approach to Italian cuisine, with familystyle platters for sharing. Tables are dark wood; an open kitchen creates a bustle. You can request private dining in one of the smaller rooms.
The cuisine focuses on Italy’s Abruzzi region, with hearty pastas and big cuts of meat. Try the spaghetti carbonara or the veal saltimbocca.
Charcuterie, mussels in white wine, pizzas, rib eye with sautéed spinach.
