Senses – A Disney Spa at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort to Debut This Month
The Spa over at Disney’s Saratoga Springs has undergone an extensive renovation over the past few months and will reopen later this month on July 25.
The two story location will feature a full-service spa and is themed in a very nature oriented way. Natural stone, pebbles and reed-like wall coverings, plus wood plank floors and wood-beamed ceilings, really make you feel like you are in the great outdoors. (At least this is a version of outdoors I can get behind!)
The spa will feature 10 treatment rooms, offering up a variety of services. These include massages, facials, three manicure stations, four pedicure areas, a whirlpool, a steam room, and heated lounge chairs (similar to those found on Disney Cruise Line ships).
This location is the second in the Senses – A Disney Spa line. The first location recently reopened at the Grand Floridian in December after its own rather lengthy rehab.

Last January, I visited the Senses Spa at the Grand Floridian, and, I have to say I was as impressed by that spa as I was unimpressed by the old Saratoga Spring Spa.
Everything at Senses was very high-end. It’s Disney owned and the company had really stepped up and added the little touches that made the experience feel special. It felt Disney; in that it was unusual and outstanding, not in the sense that it was Mickey’d up. Love my Mouse, but not during my massage, thanks!
