Chase Lounge Returns to Epcot’s Food & Wine Festival

Last year, Disney Chase Visa card members who visited the Epcot Food & Wine Festival were treated to a very special lounge where they could relax and unwind. I’ve got good news…it’s back again!

Disney Visa card holders will have the opportunity to visit this exclusive area featuring comfortable couches, complimentary soft drinks, sports on TV, magazines for reading, an interactive Festival map, and a place to recharge your cell phones. (As well as yourself!) In addition, guests will be able to purchase glasses of beer and wine, if they so choose.

The lounge will be changing locations this year. It will be able to be found in the American Adventure Pavilion, on the third floor. Guests are asked to use the elevators found between the attraction and the gift shop. You must present your Disney Chase Visa credit card to gain access to the lounge.

The lounge will be open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

In addition, for those who are wishing to attend one of the special events for the Food & Wine Festival, card members will be allowed to call on Monday, August 12, before these events are opened up for the regular public on August 13. To book, call (407) WDW-FEST. You must book the events with your Disney Visa.

While the location is different, as I am sure some of the details will be, here is my experience with the Chase Lounge last year.

The 2013 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival runs from September 27 to November 11.

You said “Disney Chase Visa”, last year it was any Chase Visa card that gave one access to the lounge. Are you sure it is only the Disney card that is accepted this year?

As of right now, it appears only Disney Visa Cards, however, that could change once things get rolling.

Just read (Aug. 12) on The Disney Food Blog that the lounge is available for all Chase credit card holders, not just Disney Chase Visa.

Does every person in your party have to have a Chase Card to take advantage of the lounge? For a family of 3 for instance, if only the Mother has a Chase card can the whole family get into the lounge?
