In Case You Missed It!
In Case You Missed It!

I’ve got the presents wrapped, the cookies are baking (mmm…my specialty….Potato Chip Cookies…yes, they are a thing…and, yes, they are delicious), and Christmas movies are playing on the TV. The Holiday season is in full swing around my house, and I’m actually ready for it.

This week’s edition shares some of the other potential tenants for Disney Springs, a found, previously lost Oswald the Lucky Rabbit short, and more!

Since this is my last edition of “In Case You Missed It” before the holiday, let me say that I wish you all a very Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy Festivus, or Happy Holidays (if you prefer), and I hope that you get to spend the next week with people that you love. (Or in my case, people that I tolerate…just kidding…I love my family. ūüėČ )

In Case You Missed It – Disney and Universal Orlando News and Rumors

This week’s hot rumor…will Disney be updating Star Tours with new footage based off of the upcoming movie, Star Wars: The Force Awakens? It would make sense, given how easy it seems it would be to add footage to this attraction.

So while we got the announcement this week that STK Orlando was headed to Disney Springs, here is a look at some of the other potential shops that will very well make their way to the shopping and dining district. Which one excites you most?

This week was the week we lost Walt Disney all those years ago. To honor his memory, The Daily News shares the story that was originally published on December 16, 1966. We miss you Walt!

Also part of the rumor mill¬†is that Disneyland will be getting both “Paint the Night” and “Happiness is Here” parades! Which one would you be most excited to see?

It’s a Disney fanatic’s nightmare. What do you do if you child doesn’t love Disney as much as you do? Find out how one mom reacted to this very situation.

Investors will be watching Disney in 2015. See what two things they’ll be looking towards and why.

This is so cool! According to reports, missing film was found in Norway featuring Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. I wonder if and when we’ll ever get to see this footage full out.

In one of the funniest stories of the week…even the director of Frozen, Jennifer Lee is sorry¬†that parents are dealing with their children singing the movie’s hit songs non-stop a year later.

Wow…two articles came out this week…both questioning the same thing that I’ve been questioning (and many others, too) since Disney announced the deal to create the world of Pandora with Avatarland. One is from Forbes and the other Yahoo, but both ask the question…5 years later…is Avatar still something that is relevant in pop culture? What do you think?

Did you know that Universal has created a Pandora station featuring Christmas music? It’s called Universal Orlando’s Merry Mixed Tape and is fabulous! It features both new and old holiday hits. I’ve had it playing while writing out this post.

For those of you who are One Direction fans, well, you likely already know that part of the concert that was filmed at Universal last month will be airing on NBC this upcoming Tuesday, December 23. Also, you should read the story of one reporter who went to the concert and lived to tell the tale.

Potato chip cookies are the bomb!! I can totally relate to that mom. My son just said last night, “Not everyone is Disney obsessed like you.”
