A very thought-provoking article that asks many questions, as we move towards the end of Bob Iger stewarding the ship, such as has the Disney brand been diluted and should the company may be consider looking outside its walls for its next CEO? Lots of things to ponder from this one. A very good read indeed.
Disney is well known for its success in running its theme parks. Many executives have written books on how Disney achieves its success. One such executive is Lee Cockerell, who shares in this article just some of the tips executives and business owners should consider when managing their own company that Disney employs within their walls.
Last week, I mentioned how Disney and Starbucks have brand new mugs that guests can purchase, themed after the different theme parks. Well, the mugs for Epcot that were originally being sold have since been pulled. Find out the reasoning behind the move. (P.S.: I’ve read that new mugs will be on hand at Fountain View in March.)
U.S. News named its top hotels in Orlando. Picking up the number one slot…did you think I was going to tell you? Haha! You’ll just have to read to find out. Also, there are quite a few Disney hotels that made the list, some that surprised me. (In a good way.)
