First Look at Menu Offerings for Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar

Jock Lindsay's Hangar BarA couple of months ago, Disney introduced us to about a brand new restaurant coming to Downtown Disney/Disney Springs called Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar.  The restaurant is themed after Indy’s pilot in the Indiana Jones movies and will feature a heavy aviation theme, including airplane parts and mementos from Jock’s travels.

Today, Disney released some of the eclectic menu offerings that will be found at this kitschy restaurant.  It appears that menu offerings will be on the appetizer/small plates side with items that are named after many of the characters and events from the movies.

These items will be great for sharing amongst the group including Dr. Elsa’s She-Deviled Eggs, which are brined in beet juice and include lump crab filling; “Good” Dates which are goat cheese-stuffed dates with Marcona almonds and pickled veggies; Snack of Ra is a taste of Africa with salads and dips served in injera (bread) and naan crisps; Tanis Tacos, filled with falafel, shredded lettuce, and cucumber-tomato salad; pretzels with house-made mustard and beer-cheese fondue; Rolling Boulder Sliders, three spicy meatballs served on mini-buns with yogurt sauce; Brody’s Brats, grilled bratwurst with mustard and pickled cabbage; Lao Che’s Revenge will be spicy Asian chicken wings; and a fried calamari flatbread with spicy harissa called “Squid! Why’d It Have to Be Squid.”

Drinks will also be a key part of the experience, with many unique choices to choose from. There will be beer and wine, as well as clever cocktails called Reggie’s Revenge, The Fountain of Youth, Hovito Mojito, The Bitter Barkeep, Anything Goes, The Aviator’s flight and the Scottish Professor, and the Cool-headed Monkey.

The lounge will have seating for 150, both indoors and outdoors and is being constructed right next door to The BOATHOUSE and is expected to open this fall.
