How Did The Universal Crowd Calendar Do?

Last week, crowds we observed at Universal Orlando Resort matched well with what the Universal Crowd Calendar predicted except on Friday and Saturday when wait times were higher than predicted, matching the levels we had seen in the early part of week. Usually in Summer we see wait times taper off slightly as we head into the weekend.

Let’s look at how the crowd levels stacked up each day last week on the TouringPlans.com Universal Crowd Calendar Report:

Friday’s wait times were the first surprising ones of the week. The Calendar expected wait times to start to diminish as we headed in to the weekend as is the case with most summer weekends. Usually, out of town guests travel on weekends leaving the parks a little less congested – not so last Friday.

This week should see busy parks all week long like we have seen since August began. However, the slow Fall season is fast approaching and when it arrives (end of August) we will see Universal’s lowest wait times of the year.
