Disneyland Crowd Calendar Report – December 20 to 26, 2015
Last week, Disneyland Resort was slightly less crowded than expected during the week but wait times were still extreme most days. The dips in mid-week crowd levels were caused mostly by lower than expected wait times at Disney California Adventure. The Christmas holiday season is the busiest time of the year at the Disneyland parks and it looks like this year will be no exception.

Both Disneyland parks were crowd level ‘9’s on Sunday. Most attractions at Disneyland park hit crowd level ’10’s but the park wide average was pulled down by attractions like Mickey’s House (6 minutes), Splash Mountain (21 minutes) and Gadget’s Go Coaster (18 minutes). |

Monday’s wait times were a step higher on our scale. We saw average wait times like 44 minutes at Alice in Wonderland, 42 at Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage, 24 at Monsters Inc. and 32 at California Screamin’. |

Tuesday’s wait times were high at Disneyland but significantly less so at Disney California Adventure. Tower of Terror averaged 37 minutes which is a level ‘8’ on our scale while Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree was 8 minutes, a level ‘1’. |

Wednesday’s crowd level at Disneyland park inched back up to a level ’10’ while Disney California Adventure stayed relatively low for this time of year. Cool weather kept Grizzly River Run at low average waits all week including a 20 minute average on Wednesday. |

Christmas Eve was really uncrowded at Disney California Adventure while Disneyland was a crowd level ‘9’ on Thursday. Grizzly River Run, California Screamin’ and Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree all hit crowd levels ‘2’ or lower. |
