How Crowded Was Universal Orlando Last Week?

The holiday rush lasted a few days longer at Universal Orlando than it did at other theme parks last week. Crowds were below a level ‘6’ only twice, on Sunday and Friday. Normally once schools head back into session Universal sees a drop in crowdedness. Not so much this year.

Let’s look at how the crowd levels stacked up each day last week on the TouringPlans.com Universal Orlando Resort Crowd Report:

Saturday’s crowd was larger than expected but only at Universal Studios. The disparity between wait times at Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios is something we will have to watch in 2016.

What to Expect This Week
January 10 to 16, 2016

This week it appears safe to say that the extended holiday rush at Universal is over and off season crowds have indeed arrived. That means guests of the parks this week should experience some of the quietest days we may see all year.
