A small fire broke out at the Festival of the Lion King earlier this week. No injuries occurred.

We stayed at Ft. Wilderness several times when River Country was still there and it was always a must visit. Too bad they couldn’t find a way to keep it open. It would be like Ft. Wilderness having it’s own water park.

I continue to be fascinated by the fact that River Country is still there, on property, just rotting away. Something about that seems so bizarre and un-Disney to me. I don’t blame people for being tempted to sneak in and get a look, honestly.
