In Case You Missed It: News and Rumors – Week of March 9, 2018

You know, it’s always hard to get back to the grind after taking a weekend trip to Orlando. I needed a little R&R, so this past weekend, I made the trip to see both the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival, as well as Universal’s Mardi Gras. Both were a ton of fun and both gave me that pick me up I needed!

This week, we have peeks at some of the new teaser trailers released by Disney, learn what movie was moved up a week, and more.

In Case You Missed It – Disney and Universal Orlando News and Rumors

Looks like The Odyssey will be changing over to the future Festival Center, instead of the former Wonders of Life Pavilion. Very interesting….

This is really cool…also I may have already and be wasting lots of hours exploring the Google Street Views that were released this week!

The New York Times is visiting every single place they named in their Top 52 places to visit in 2018, which means this week, they visited Walt Disney World, specifically Disney Springs. See what they thought about visiting this destination.

There is a new head of ESPN, James Pitero.

We get to see Avengers: Infinity War a week earlier?! What? This is awesome!

Speaking of film changes, the live action Mulan has been pushed back to 2020.

The feels are definitely there. What did you think of the upcoming Christoper Robin film from the new trailer?

Speaking of teaser trailers….while I have been skeptical of Mary Poppins Returns, just because Julie Andrews is Mary Poppins to me…I’m opening up a bit more to this film. What about you?

Well deserved! Coco won for Best Animated Feature and “Remember Me” won for Best Song.

I loved watching Jimmy Fallon and Chadwick Boseman surprise fans of Black Panther!

Looks like the film Noelle, which is starring Anna Kendrick, is now going to be found on Disney’s upcoming streaming service.

This week, we lost David Ogden Stiers, who voiced many Disney characters in many movies from the 90s/2000s.

In addition, we also recently lost Pixar’s Bud Luckey, who helped to create our favorite cowboy, Woody.

The potential rumored houses for Halloween Horror Nights are….interesting. What would you like to see this year?

It’s too bad The NY Times writer didn’t plan ahead and didn’t actually go to Disney World. I wouldn’t be 100% thrilled with 3 days of Disney Springs either.
