I’m throwing myself into Christmas this weekend! Getting ready for the holiday with holiday parties, Christmas shopping, baking, and more. What are you doing to get ready this weekend?

This week, the news was really interesting. There are a multitude of topics that were touched on, like the Golden Globes, changes to Bob Iger’s pay, and a few interesting rumors too.

In Case You Missed It – Disney and Universal Orlando News and Rumors

The OC Register takes a look at what the potential capacity is going to be for Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run.  What do you think wait times are going to be like?

Wow! In a little over a year’s time, Mobile Ordering at Walt Disney World has generated over 1 million orders. I’m one of those 1 million….are you?

If reports are to be believed, we may see the new Cirque du Soleil show around September of 2019.

Changes have occurred in relation to Bob Iger’s pay, as there was a tweak of Iger’s contract, which increases his potential payout but also raises the stakes for him to receive it. Mr. Iger is now eligible for up to 1.17 million shares, if Disney beats at least 75 percent of the S&P 500 Index in the four years through December 2021. Very interesting indeed.

Disney’s next shareholder meeting is slated to take place in my former hometown!

Here’s another very interesting read this week. (This week is filled with them!) The Walt Disney Co. is moving all of its digital brands and properties worldwide to Google’s advertising platform.

I would tend to agree, what about you? Disney Cruise Line tops Newsweek’s 2019 Inaugural List of America’s Best Companies for Customer Service.

According to reports, Disneyland Paris is considering building a massive solar power plant which would supply 15% of the electricity of the park.

Ralph Breaks the Internet won at the box office again this past weekend and it’s already Walt Disney Animation’s best sequel.

Both Mary Poppins Returns and Black Panther were named as part of the top 10 of the American Film Institute’s Best Films of 2018.

Speaking of potential awards, Disney is well represented for this year’s Golden Globes awards. Which awards do you think they’ll win for?

Did you see one of the trailers for the upcoming Captain Marvel? What did you think.

There’s going to be a new Disney Junior show called Mira, Royal Detective. Who wants to bet this will become your child’s newest obsession.
