Congratulations to Bao which won the Best Animated Short Oscar. The short was written and directed by Domee Shi who is the first woman to helm a Pixar short.

Also a big winner on Oscar night was Black Panther. The film’s wins also made Oscar history. Find out why.

    “The Lion King” looks amazing! I think it’s a foregone conclusion that it will receive some Oscar nominations. Even though it looks like 100% real filmed footage, we know it is not. So will this film qualify for the “Best Animated Film” category? It is something the Academy is going to have to consider as next year’s awards season nears.
