U.S. Navy Blue Angels Flyover at Epcot This Week

Look, up in the sky! Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Well, actually it’s a bunch of planes. The U.S. Navy Blue Angels will be conducting a flyover at Epcot in the morning of Thursday, May 2. For the best viewing (and photo ops), the recommended location will be between Spaceship Earth and the bridge to World Showcase.

This is not the first time that the Blue Angels have buzzed the Disney theme parks. In 2015 and 2017, they flew over Magic Kingdom park to the cheers of the crowd (as shown in this photo (c) Disney).

Currently, the weather forecast for the day is mostly cloudy, but you still should be able to have a great view. The Blue Angels will make two passes over Epcot before heading down to South Florida for a weekend air show.

Have you seen the Blue Angels do their flyover at Walt Disney World before? Planning to be at Epcot to see this one? Let me know in the comments.

  • What time are they flying over?

    • No official announcement has been made yet, but the best rumors suggest it will be around 9:30 AM.
