What an interesting week of news! There’s really something for everyone this week…theme park fans have exciting tidbits about Galaxy’s Edge, television fans have news about what’s coming out next season, and we have news of movies we didn’t know we needed, but are apparently they’re in the works.

When you wan to impress, you show your friends your cool new toys…when your Bob Iger, that cool new toy is Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
The Los Angeles Times has a great article all about Imagineer, Kim Irvine. If you don’t know her name…you should; her family’s been entrenched in Disney history.
In news that makes me very happy, Bob Iger said this week that Disney isn’t interested in pushing virtual reality. The company overall much prefers real immersion, like we’ll get with Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
Robert Downey Jr. and Bette Midler, Wing Chao, Jon Favreau, James Earl Jones, Kenny Ortega, Barnette Ricci, Robin Roberts, Diane Sawyer, Ming-Na Wen, and Hans Zimmer, will be honored as Disney Legends during the 2019 D23 Expo. Congrats to all!
