I think there may be a small little event happening today….teeny tiny really….have you all heard of this place called Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge? Rumors say it’s opening today at Disneyland. It’ll never work….(thank you John from Carousel of Progress.)

This week, we get our first glimpse of the new Pixar film, find out which Disney Springs restaurants are great for a night out, and see what a Team Member at Universal did for one of their Guests. Plus lots more. Let’s dive into the fun.

In Case You Missed It – Disney and Universal Orlando News and Rumors

Some of your favorite original trilogy Star Wars celebs showed up for the grand opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

This was actually something I’m pretty sure I caught in person…but didn’t realize what I was experiencing at the time. I just thought it was because it was raining. The Walt Disney World Resort used a play test with Captain Jack Sparrow to see if story driven experiences would work at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

Forbes takes a look at the relationship between Disney and Coke and how it came to be in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

This is pretty cool. 30 years after its debut, one of the original Indys is still part of the show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Big news for the Boathouse and Raglan Road at Disney Springs! OpenTable named these two restaurants in their “Top 100 Restaurants in America for a Big Night Out”.

A service dog went on a trip to Walt Disney World and the internet lost it because of all the cuteness.

Disney has announced that Cast Members can now enroll at the University of Central Florida in Orlando for classes with Disney picking up the tab.

Get a first look at the upcoming Pixar film, Onward starring Chris Pratt, Tom Holland, Julia Louis Dreyfus, and Octavia Spencer. I’m intrigued.

Avengers: Endgame is just the second film ever to cross the $800 million mark domestically.

Aladdin sold a massive $113 million in box office tickets this past weekend. Did you see the film?

This was a great story. A Team Member at Universal helped one family when they needed it most.
