In Case You Missed It: News and Rumors – Week of September 6, 2019

I am so glad that Hurricane Dorian mostly avoided Florida, minus a few bands of rain and wind. Our thoughts are with those who were impacted as the cleanup process begins.

This week, find out what entertainment offerings will be ending at Disneyland, see what new podcast you might want to download, and more.

In Case You Missed It – Disney and Universal Orlando News and Rumors

The Walt Disney Company announced it will give more than $1 million support to the Bahamas for Hurricane Dorian relief.

Here is how Disney kept Guests entertained while Hurricane Dorian was on the horizon.

This is truly sweet. A 6-year-old boy decided to help Hurricane Dorian evacuees, instead of take the trip he’d been planning to take to Walt Disney World.

For those who missed it – TSA has now said it is fine to pack your Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Coke bottles.

Two more entertainment acts will end their run this month at the Disneyland Resort. The last day for the “Laughing Stock Co.” show at the Golden Horseshoe Saloon and the Pixarmonic Orchestra in Pixar Pier will be on September 15

Add another podcast to the mix. D23 now has their own podcast called D23 Inside Disney.
