Over at Epcot’s Sunshine Season quick service restaurant there’s a dessert items that LOOKS like a delicious scoop of ice cream, but it’s not. This seasonal dessert is really a cupcake, priced at $5.59 or a Disney Dining Plan snack credit.
Despite the heaping helping of frosting, this cupcake is much lighter than many other Disney cupcakes because the icing is whipped. The cake is banana, with a pineapple and coconut filling. The tropical flavors give the impression of a banana split.
I often stop after a few bites of Disney cupcake, because they’re just too sweet. But if you only eat some of the icing, this one is fully consumable. It doesn’t cloy or leave your teeth with that sticky sugar film. I’d buy it again.
