Contemporary Resort Gingerbread House Features Cinderella – and Lots of Treats

This year’s gingerbread display at Disney’s Contemporary resort, the 10th anniversary display, features Cinderella Castle rendered in the style of It’s a Small World. See the Small World clock and face atop the towers at either side of the castle. The building in front shows images of Cinderella, her prince, and the Fairy Godmother, rendered in the fashion of the Small World dolls. This version is a bit simpler than some we’ve seen in recent years, but it’s no less charming.

The gingerbread display is located near the monorail entrance on the 4th floor of the resort. A nearby table is a sales point for holiday treats, including a plant-based gingerbread loaf, gingerbread men, gingerbread shingles, Linzer cookies, chocolate peppermint cookies, a box of all the cookies, krispie treats, and the same yogurt-covered holiday pretzels, cocoa mix, and candy-coated popcorn that are being sold throughout WDW.

Non-edible items available for purchase are 10th anniversary ornaments ($14.99), mugs ($24.99), and pins ($17.99).

The more elaborate full-size gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian resort is expected to open in about three weeks. We’ll keep you posted when we hear the exact date.
