There is a lot of talk about the construction going on at Epcot, and rightfully so. But let’s not forget the major project under construction at Magic Kingdom right now. The TRON Lightcycle / Run will change the look and feel of Tomorrowland.

You can get an elevated view of the construction by taking a relaxing ride on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover. On a recent visit we noticed that the track of the signature swoop of track that will come outside of the ride’s building is now complete.

From over in Storybook Circus we could see that exterior panels for the ride’s building are now going up. It also looks like a good amount of track is placed inside the building, but if currently wrapped under plastic.

Besides this major project Tomorrowland has a few minor touch ups going on. Tomorrowland Terrace has a rather large box taking up most of the main walkway near Main Street U.S.A.

Also it is dry January, and by that we mean, it is time for Splash Mountain‘s seasonal refurbishment.
