In Case You Missed It – Disney and Universal Orlando News and Rumors

Disney has donated 150,000 rain ponchos to help hospitals combat coronavirus pandemic.

This moment, shared by Josh D’Amaro, Walt Disney World’s President, is just so very touching. If you missed it, make sure you have tissues on hand.

Disney bought more land this week in the Florida area.

Joby Harold has been tapped to write the upcoming Disney+ Obi-Wan Kenobi series.

This is fantastic news! Bob Iger will forgo his entire salary and Bob Chapek will take a 50 percent pay cut amid the coronavirus pandemic.

In addition, good for Comcast’s CEO, Brian Roberts, who had donated his own paycheck back to his employees during this incredibly stressful time.

Due to Coronavirus, a number of Universal films have been pushed back, including Minions: The Rise of Gru. (Also, we’re never gonna see that Wicked film…)
