Things Are Getting Less Scary at Snow White’s Scary Adventures in Disneyland
Did you know that Snow White’s Scary Adventures was getting a retheming? Well, Disney recently shared some updates about what to expect with the newly re-imagined Disneyland attraction.
The Fantasyland attraction is not only getting a new update, but it’s also getting a new name. The Snow White’s Scary Adventures attraction will now be known as Snow White’s Enchanted Wish!
Imagineers have been working on the attraction while Disneyland has been closed and it will be ready to reopen to Guests when the park officially reopens at a later date. Guests who visit this attraction will notice an enhanced story, as well as all-new scenes. Using state-of-the-art audio and visual technology, including new music, LED black lighting, laser projections and a new animation system, the attraction brings to life Snow White’s story.
Guests will see new appearances of beloved characters, including Snow White. She’ll be seen dancing and twirling with the Seven Dwarfs in their cottage. And is that apple pie I smell? There will also be vibrant new shadow projections that bring to life the dwarfs as they march happily off to work. Speaking of the mine, it will sparkle and shimmer with great new lighting effects!
Take a look at what Guests will be able to experience when the attraction officially reopens:
This is great news. We had a trip planned last summer and I was worried this would be too scary for my daughter. She’s very sensitive like that. Now I just have to hope we can go someday 🙂
More tv screens. Yay. And the mine elements look like a clone of the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. Not the same kind of upgrades as Alice or Peter Pan, that’s for sure. Still, when we rode in March 2020 the scenes were in poor shape and the lighting so dim a lot of it was hardly visible so anything would help in this case.
