When the team is in the parks and at resorts, we love to duck into shops to see what the latest merchandise is — or just things that catch our interest. Here’s the items we spotted this week.
Loungefly Halloween Hat
You know the Halloween season has arrived at Walt Disney World. Everywhere you turn, you’ll see items related to Hocus Pocus, Haunted Mansion, or just general pumpkin fun. Loungefly steps into the mix with this baseball cap featuring iconic images from the Haunted Mansion. I’m not usually a baseball cap person, but this one really looks good to me.
Hocus Pocus Spirit Jersey
Got lots of “MUST HAVE” messages when sharing this around to friends. Even if you aren’t usually a fan of spirit jerseys, the style on this one is perfect for Hocus Pocus fans.
Adorable Halloween Plush
Can a desk ever have too much plush on it? (Asking for . . . uh . . . a friend, okay?) We spotted a lot of new Halloween plush at the Emporium this week leading up to Boo Bash. What’s interesting about Halloween items this year is that there’s signs up for limit 2 per item per guest. I for one am thankful that they’re doing this. If there’s a lot left towards the end of the season, then let people scoop up whatever. But at the beginning, let everyone have a chance to enjoy. Out of the plush we spotted, my choices would be Chip ‘n’ Dale in the pumpkin and Binx the cat, who has to be the most adorable cat plush since Mr. Mittens from Soul. (I haven’t seen the movie, but I have the Rainbow Mr. Mittens plush on the shelf next to my desk where all my desk pets reside.)
Are you as enamored with plush desk pets as I am? Does Halloween merchandise somehow trick its way into your house? Let us know in the comments.
