Our in-parks team is in Disney theme parks every week recording wait times, trying food, soaking in the atmosphere, and looking for any changes that might impact your vacation. Here’s the changes that stood out to us this week.
Physical Distancing Less Prevalent
Although Disney continues to recommend physical distancing between parties, like other parts of the country, this appears to have gone to just a recommendation instead of something strictly enforced. One result we’re seeing from this is that capacity at attractions has been on the increase.
Pizza Spring Rolls Out, Buffalo Chicken Spring Rolls In
The Spring Roll cart in Adventureland is a great place to grab a quick snack. This week, we spotted a menu change — gone are the Pizza spring rolls. They have been replaced by a Buffalo Chicken version. Cheeseburger Spring Rolls are still available. The price is $9.50 for two, and you can get two of a single flavor or one of each.
Entrance Changes at EPCOT
In preparation for the summer season, both sides of bag check areas at EPCOT’s main entrance are now open. Hopefully this will help reduce time in line to keep people out of that hot summer sun!
Avengers Campus Opens at Disney California Adventure
Avengers Campus is now open at Disney California Adventure. We had a lot of opening day coverage that you can read here, plus a YouTube (spoiler-laden) ride-through on the new attraction WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure.
Changes on the Monorail
Over the past week, we’ve noticed a few changes on the monorails. Some of the monorail cars appear to have had their plastic dividers removed, and we’ve seen some odd “Please Wait Here” stickers popping up, too.
Updates to Jungle Cruise

This week we saw that some updates have been completed at Jungle Cruise, but still more are in the works. We’re excited to see this fan favorite attraction getting some love.
