All-Star Resorts Get Free Wi-Fi at Walt Disney World

A quick note – Disney has begun activating guest wireless Internet access (Wi-Fi) at the All-Star Resorts. (Pop Century received it recently, as well.)  The system is so new and unannounced that the resort front desks often don’t know about it.  The Wi-Fi access is currently free of charge, with no mention from Disney about charging for it in the future.

Hardwired Internet access is still available for $9.95 in all rooms, and the hardwired access is much faster than the Wi-Fi offering.

To connect to the Wi-Fi, look for the network labeled: “Guest Access (unsecured).” Technical support for the system is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, by calling Walt Disney World’s telecommunications provider, Smart City, at 407-938-HELP.

  • Anyone know if the Contemporary has free wireless internet in their rooms. I’m going June 25th and want to be able to log into this site. 🙂

  • Marmar, we are going to be staying at Caribbean Beach in April, and I did not realize it had free WiFi in the rooms. Do they tell you about it, or did you find out by accident? Do you know if it is in all the rooms?
