Best Drinks at the 2024 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays
Drinks can run up your bill at Disney World’s Festival of the Holidays even faster than the food, so we’re here to help you pick the ones that you’ll really enjoy! We didn’t try absolutely everything at this year’s EPCOT Festival, but we made it through a fair portion of the offerings. Here were our favorites.
How much should you expect to pay? We didn’t include them in our tasting, but you’ll find the beer and wine prices vary. Most beers are about $5.75, but there are a few with higher price tags – sometimes much higher. Most cocktails are in the $11-14 range. Non-alcoholic drinks are mostly (but not all) between $4.50 and $6, and many are available for purchase with DDP Snack Credits. You can see the full Festival menu here, including the drinks we didn’t get to before closing time.
Best Zero-Proof Drinks at 2024 Festival of the Holidays
As always, we’re thrilled to see Disney offering options for those who choose not to (or aren’t old enough to) imbibe. But it’s worth noting that a few of the drinks below offer the option to include a tipple, and we don’t think any of them are worse if you choose the alcoholic option.
Coquito Milk Shake | Connections Cafe & Eatery – $7.49
It’s wonderful, it’s huge, and it’s available with Mobile Order. This “tropical eggnog” is strongly recommended and we love it every year.
Gingerbread Milk Shake | Experimental Prototype Cookies of Tomorrow – $4.75
We panned the Gingerbread cookie at this stop and gave it a hard pass. They must be using different gingerbread to make the milkshakes (and really, we would hope so), because this was mighty tasting. Skip the cookie tile, get this shake instead.
Ichigo Boba | Shi Wasu Holiday Kitchen – $7.00
The price is a little on the higher side for a mocktail, but we think this is so worth it. If you regularly head into Mitsukashi for a Calpico like we do, you won’t regret trying this. It’s not the sweetest drink on our list but it is one of the best.
Frozen Caramel Hot Cocoa | Holiday Hearth Desserts – $5.25
A frozen cookie in drink form. There’s no getting around the fact that this is sweet, but it feels perfectly in keeping with the sweetness of holiday cocoa. Plus views of Santa, restrooms, and tables. Hard to beat!
Taro Bubble Milk Tea | Shanghai Holiday Kitchen – $8.75
Our priciest non-alcoholic pick, but it’s HUGE and will last a while. If you like green tea (yes, we know the drink is purple) and boba, then this will be your jam. We loved it.
Best Boozy Drinks at 2024 Festival of the Holidays
These are all drinks that don’t come in a non-alcoholic version, or ones where we thought the alcohol brought something extra (in a good way) to the table.
Holiday Margarita | Las Posadas Holiday Kitchen – $14.00
It’s tiny and looks festive and harmless with that adorable spring of rosemary, but it has Dos Hombres Mezcal, Tequila, AND Orange Blackcurrant Liqueurs! Strong and very, very good; it has a kick but a bit of sweetness that we love too.
Frozen Hot Chocolate Martini | Le Marché de Noël Holiday Kitchen – $13.95
This is one of our favorites that is glorious every year. If you like chocolate, vodka, and Christmas cheer, this is your drink. Be prepared for 55 people to ask “Where did you get that?!” as you stroll around the World Showcase with your fancy, delicious bevvie.
Fireball Cinnamon Whisky and Barq’s Red Crème Soda with apple cinnamon soft-serve | Swirled Showcase – $12.50
This one is definitely sweet, as you might expect. You can get the same float without the cinnamon whiskey, but we think that the kick from the Fireball adds an extra dimension, especially on a chilly day.
Holiday Fig Cocktail | Tangierine Café – $11.50
Fig Liqueur and White Cranberry Juice are so lovely together. It’s like tipsy Christmas in a cup. The mellow, sweet fig flavor is a nice contrast to the puckery flavors of the food at this booth, so grab a table – there are lots – and take the time to enjoy this lovely drink.
