Do you have a trip to Walt Disney World from now until the end of the year? Are you using Disney’s Magical Express to get from the airport to your resort hotel? Well, beginning July 1, you will no longer be mailed reservation confirmation information.
Wait…so how will you be able to use Disney’s Magical Express moving forward? Guests will be able to use either a MagicBand or Magic Mobile to now check in at the Disney’s Magical Express Welcome Center. For those Guests who do not have either, you will be checked in manually by a Cast Member retrieving your reservations using your IDs. (By the way, this is the current protocol for those Guests who don’t have their mailed reservation confirmation packet.)
In order to reduce the number of Guests whose reservations need to be retrieved manually, which does take a little bit of time, it is encouraged that Guests make their Disney’s Magical Express reservations ahead of time. You’ll need to make sure that you provide your round-trip flight information at the time of booking your vacation. You should also consider using the new Magic Mobile capabilities (click here to learn how that works). If you didn’t have sent to you for this current trip, Disney suggests that if you have MagicBands from previous vacations, you bring those.
As a reminder, Disney’s Magical Express will no longer operate beginning January 1, 2022.
