Details About Merry & Bright Dessert Party and Dinner Reception During the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights

As it was mentioned last week, this year will be the final year for the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights. To celebrate the final year, Disney’s Hollywood Studios is introducing the Merry & Bright Dessert Party and Dinner Reception.

The Merry & Bright Dessert Party will include holiday-themed desserts, specialty alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, sodas, water, tea and coffee. The Dessert Party will take place from November 6 through December 24 from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. and on December 25-30 from 8:30 p.m. through 10:00 p.m.  The price is $69 per adult and $39 per child (ages 3-9). Tax and gratuity are included and each Guest in the party will receive a keepsake roll-up stadium blanket. 

At the Merry & Bright Dinner Reception, Guests will enjoy a holiday buffet including shrimp, beef, turkey and more, as well as specialty alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, beer and wine. The Dinner Reception will take place from 8:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Jan. 1, 2016 and from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. on January 2 and January 3, 2016. The price is $99 per adult and $54 per child (ages 3-9). Tax and gratuity are included. Each Guest in the party will receive a custom keepsake shadow box featuring their own Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights bulb.

During both events, Guests will be able to enjoy the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights from a reserved location at the end of the Streets of America near the entrance to Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show.

To take part in the event, Guests will be able to check in at the location beginning one hour prior to the event. Guests may enter and exit the party location as many times as they wish during their designated viewing and dessert party or dinner party time.

  • I would love to do this, I’m going to miss these lights so much! I wish they would have given more notice of this being the last year…it isn’t nearly enough time for me to come up with the money for a vacation with such short notice. 🙁

    Or at least I could have postponed the trip we went on this past January.
