Disney Vacation Club Will Begin Sales of the Island Tower at the Polynesian Resort in October.

A whole raft of people will soon be able to call the Polynesian Villas and Bungalows their Disney Vacation Club home, as sales are about to open for the brand-new Island Tower at the resort. Here are the important dates:

• October 1 – Island Tower sales begin to current Disney Vacation Club Members
• October 15 – Current and add-on owners of the Polynesian Villas & Bungalows can book with points
• October 29 – Island Tower sales open to the general public
• November 5 – All owners at the Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, including new owners, can book with points
• November 19 – All Disney Vacation Club Members can book at the Island Tower with points
• December 17 – The Island Tower opens and welcomes its first guests

As a reminder, Disney had previously announced that the Island Tower would be part of the existing condo association. That means that for the purposes of making reservations, the entire Polynesian Villas & Bungalows will be treated as one property. Owners at either the existing units or the new Island Tower can reserve 11 months out, for either the Island Tower or the existing units.

Disney had previously opened cash booking for stays at the Island Tower, and announced new dining and recreation areas as well.
