Disneyland Crowd Calendar Report – January 24 to 30
Last week, Disneyland Resort saw wait times that tended higher than we would normally expect for late January, especially mid-week. The crowds were busier on the weekend than during the week, a trend that is most apparent during the off season and one that the Disneyland Crowd Calendar predicted well last week although crowd levels were one to two levels higher.
Let’s look at how the crowd levels stacked up each day last week on the TouringPlans.com Disneyland Resort Crowd Report:

On Sunday, wait times at Disneyland Park were led by crowd level ’10’s at Alice in Wonderland, Astro Orbitor, Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters, Space Mountain and Star Tours. Note that all but one of these are located in Tomorrowland. |

On Monday we saw average wait times like 44 minutes at Peter Pan’s Flight (predicted 31), 30 at Matterhorn Bobsleds (44) and 29 minutes at California Screamin’ (predicted 20). |

Tuesday’s crowds were lower than what we saw on Monday including a 35 minute average at Peter Pan’s Flight. Radiator Springs Racers averaged 49 minutes, a clear level ‘1’ for that attraction. |

Crowds were comparable between both Disneyland parks on Wednesday. Standout average wait times were seen at Peter Pan’s Flight (36 minutes, predicted 30) and Alice in Wonderland (24 minutes, predicted 11). Elsewhere, averages were within a few minutes of predicted levels. |

Disney California Adventure was a level ‘2’ as predicted on Thursday, its lowest level of the week. There we saw single digit average wait times at Monsters Inc, Grizzly River Run and Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree. |

Saturday was the busiest day of the week, by far. In fact, Saturday was among the busiest days in all of January. Tower of Terror averaged 65 minutes, California Screamin’ 53 and Toy Story Midway Mania 50 minutes, all crowd level ’10’s. |

February is a month when we usually see a transition between the lows of January and the Spring Break peak in March. Crowds will continue to be busier on the weekends than during the week.
