Get Ready to Be Able to Enter Disney California Adventure Soon For Shopping & Dining

Recently Disney let us all know that they would be opening up Buena Vista Street at Disney California Adventure at the Disneyland Resort as an extension of the Downtown Disney District. Guests will be able to visit this extension beginning on November 19! While visiting, Guests will be able to enjoy even more shopping and dining experiences when this area reopens.

When Guests visit, they’ll be able to stop into the Carthay Circle Lounge – Alfresco Dining option. This will be a new outdoor dining environment and the menu will include Mediterranean-California light fare, with small plates that can be shared or enjoyed separately. The seasonal menu will include Carthay shrimp roll, harissa-roasted lamb, soy-glazed salmon, lemon-crusted fish of the day and an artisan cheese board. The kids menu will include orecchiette pasta with marinara and orange dragon chicken skewers. Guests can also relax with a glass of wine, craft beers or a cocktail in the expanded outdoor seating while enjoying amazing views of Buena Vista Street.

At Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Cafe, Guests can stop in for a yummy hot chocolate and a cranberry orange scone. In addition, mobile order will be available for corn dogs or soft drinks at Award Wieners or bacon cheeseburgers, chicken tenders, onion rings, waffle fries, kids’ meals, and vanilla and chocolate shakes at Smokejumpers Grill.

If you’re looking to shop, stop in at Elias & Co., Julius Katz & Sons, Kingswell Camera Shop and Trolley Treats where you can find unique Disney apparel and gifts.

In addition, something else to keep in mind is that beginning November 19, there will be a $10 fee per car for parking at the Downtown Disney District in the Simba Lot.

Keep in mind that The number of guests visiting the Resort will be limited to promote physical distancing and at times a mobile wait list system will be used when Buena Vista Street and/or its queue are at capacity, similar to the process at some retail locations in the Downtown Disney District.

Do keep in mind that technically Disney California Adventure is currently closed.
