A Look at the Epcot Food and Wine Festival Merchandise

After braving the outlets, I found myself once again shopping this week–but this time looking at what is offered at the 2015 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival. With this being the 20th anniversary of Food and Wine, I had some high hopes that the merchandise would be worth purchasing.

First things first, while the Festival Center is the place that has the most merchandise available, it is not the only location to purchase festival goods. In the area between Future World and World Showcase, every store sells some Food and Wine merchandise. Even items like the Dooney and Bourke bags are available for sale in Mouse Gear. So if you find that the Festival Center lines are long, you have many other options.

Glassware and Plates

It is no surprise that Food and Wine has a lot of items for the kitchen. Among the most popular are the Tervis cup that looks like it has a wineglass inside, the trash can-design salt and pepper shakers, and official wine glasses and plates.

Clothing and Soft Goods

As you can imagine, Food and Wine has shirts available for purchase (long sleeve and short sleeve), but you can also find a chef’s hat, apron, pot holders, and dish towels for sale.

Pins and Collectibles

Naturally, Disney has plenty of items for all sorts of collectors. Pins, Vinylmation, Dooney and Bourke bags, posters, and even Figment dressed as a chef can be found. My favorite is the Remy and Emile pin that shows the rat chef and his brother mixing ingredients in to make Canada’s Cheddar Cheese Soup. As a bonus, the pin comes with a recipe card. Annual passholder offerings include a special t-shirt, pin, and coin.

Festival Cookbook

Every year, I look forward to the Festival Cookbook so I have recipes for all those things I would love to make (but rarely ever do). This year’s cookbook contains more than just recipes–it contains a history of Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival. Not going to make it to Food and Wine this year? The cookbook is currently for sale in the Shop Disney app.

Additional Items

In the Festival Center and beyond, there are many more specialty items for sale, including the Brews Around the World line of products, Orange Bird items, Guinness items, cookbooks from celebrity authors, and wine from around the world in the Wine Shop. One item that stood out to me is the Brews baseball cap–with a built-in bottle opener.

Remy’s Hide and Squeak

Last, but certainly not least, visit Pin Central to buy a map for Remy’s Hide and Squeak game. This scavenger hunt takes you through World Showcase, gathering ingredients for Remy’s latest creation. In addition to being a fun activity for all ages, when you complete the map, you receive one of six collectible pins.

Overall, I’m thrilled with the merchandise available, and see many items being favorites of guests to Food and Wine. After looking over this sampling of merchandise, is there anything that you are excited to buy?

Thank you for this! I was just wondering how much the cookbook is? I am from Canada and am wanting to get that when I am down in November.

Although you can view the cookbook in the app, it says ‘in store purchase only’. 🙁
