Fantastic Updates for the Disney Fantasy Are Coming in Late 2025

We already knew the Fantasy was going to drydock in the Fall of 2025, and a few changes are typically on the docket (haha) for such stays. Now Disney has released details of some changes that guests can enjoy when she begins sailing again. Based on the announcement, we expect these new features to be very similar to the ones added in the Dream’s 2024 drydock; we’ve included some additional details based on what we saw on the Dream. Guests can now begin booking Fantasy sailings with these updates for December 4, 2025 and later.

New Concierge Tower Suite

Like, the Dream, the Fantasy will be receiving an all-new Tower Suite, placed in its forward funnel. This penthouse at sea will also be Fantasia-themed. The 2,030 sq. food Tower Suite will have two main bedrooms, a library with a queen-sized wall bed, and a children’s room with bunks. There are also 4.5 bathrooms, a large two-story living area, a pantry and wet bar, walk-in closets, and more. The new Tower Suite will take over the 1A Category designation; guests who previously booked Category 1A staterooms will notice that they are now Category 1B; this is a change in name only and the stateroom type has not changed.

One of the biggest changes between the Tower Suite on the Dream and those on the Wish is that the windows on the Dream suite were tinted so that guests can no longer see in as easily. We expect that change to appear on the Fantasy’s Tower Suite as well.

Concierge Lounge Updates

This change was billed by Disney as merely “Ethereal concierge lounge inspired by Hercules”. The concept art from the Dream is shown below. In practice, we know that the space was increased and the concierge lounge sundeck was enlarged as well.

In addition to the Tower Suite, the Dream drydock moved 24 category 4A Deluxe Family Oceanview with Verandah on Deck 10 into the concierge category. We expect the Fantasy to make the same change as this increase is what necessitated the expansion of the lounge.

Edge Relocation to Deck 5 and Youth Spaces Updates

In order to make room in the funnel for the new Tower Suite, the Edge tween club was relocated to Deck 5 next to Vibe. How this worked out in practice:

  • Vibe got a bit smaller, but still plenty of space
  • The new space for Edge is a bit larger than its previous space
  • Vibe’s outdoor space is now shared between the two clubs; each has scheduled times to use it

The Dream drydock brought Marvel updates to the youth spaces as well. None have been announced for the Fantasy, which already has a Marvel-dedicated space.

Other Updates

Updates were also announced to Ramone’s Cantina and the Senses Spa. On the Dream the Senses updates played out as a change in the spa’s footprint, and an enlarged and redecorated check-in area.

At Ramone’s, the menu is getting a makeover, with tacos and Mexican bowls added to the offerings. We expect these to be similar to the menu additions on the Dream, which were similar to the offerings at Donald’s Cantina on the Wish.
