FASTPASS Being Added to Two Disneyland Resort Attractions
Disneyland park goers, I come bringing FASTPASS news! Soon, Guests will be able to take advantage of this handy tool at two Disneyland Resort attractions.
At Disneyland Park, FASTPASS will be available for Autopia in Tomorrowland. Moving over to Disney California Adventure, you’ll be able to take advantage of the service at Monsters, Inc. Mike and Sulley to the Rescue! located in Hollywood Land.
For more information on how this system works at the Disneyland Resort, take a look at our handy guide.
There has been no official announcement on exactly when these attractions will receive FASTPASS. All that was mentioned was “soon.”
Fast passes are ruining the disney experience. The lines were fine without the fastpass. People need to start boycotting or voicing their opinion against the fast pass.
That’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. Fast passes allow for people to enjoy more attractions versus standing in lines.
I’ve used fast pass on autopia on several occasions. Did they take it out, and now putting it back in? I don’t get it. Goofy
@John Doe: That ship sailed 20+ years ago…
@Richard: Fastpasses allow savvy people to enjoy more attractions. The flipside is that, because fastpassers are cutting in front of the line, [standby] waits are much longer. A great case study will be Smuggler’s Run in Orlando, which will start offering fastpass next week. We can expect to see the typical standby waits jump from 30-40 minutes to 60+.
@Goofy: Yes, fastpass was removed from Autopia a few years back, and is now being reinstated. The assumption here is that they’re trying to add fastpass to more little-kid-friendly attractions in order to increase maxpass sales (many families visiting with small children don’t bother paying for maxpass because they won’t get much value out of it).
