Here’s what to expect for February 2020 at Walt Disney World.

Events

The ever-popular Epcot International Festival of the Arts continues through February 24. This popular event includes everything imaginable in the realm of arts including live performances, a scavenger hunt, artistic food, and hands-on events and demonstrations, plus all sorts of artwork on display (and some for purchase).
Valentine’s Day (February 14) may be a major date on your calendar, but its impact to crowds at Walt Disney World will be negligible aside from certain dining venues.
What will impact crowd levels is Presidents Day, with crowds peaking over the weekend (February 15-17).
The RunDisney season continues, with Princess Half Marathon Weekend coming up on February 20-23. Expect the biggest traffic impacts on that Sunday, but park crowds will be minimally impacted.
Crowds also see a bump towards the end of the month with the start of Mardi Gras and people flocking to Florida to enjoy the amazing weather this time of year.

The Walt Disney World Railroad continues its lengthy refurbishment.
Splash Mountain is down for its winter refurb until February 28.
Test Track is down for refurbishment until February 27.
Muppet*Vision 3D is scheduled for refurbishment until February 9.
Primeval Whirl is back to its “on again/off again” seasonal-esque schedule, where there’s no guarantee whether or not it will be running.
Kali River Rapids is closed for its scheduled winter refurb until March 21.
Typhoon Lagoon is closed for its winter refurbishment through March 29.
The Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, Canada Far and Wide, and Awesome Planet movies in Epcot are now open.
