With the debut of the two new Walt Disney World fireworks spectacular, Disney Enchantment at the Magic Kingdom and Harmonious at EPCOT on October 1, you knew there would be dessert parties and dining packages re-introduced! These options will help to make the night even more special. Let’s break them all down!

Celebration at the Top: 50th Flavors and Fireworks at Disney’s Contemporary Resort

This will be a sophisticated evening where Guests are welcomed to the private Sonoma and Napa Rooms at California Grill. Here they will be to enjoy a selection of specialty drinks, sushi and small plates. These dishes will pay homage to the original menu from the resort’s opening in 1971. After a cocktail hour, Guests will be able to step outside to the observation deck on the 15th floor for a unique viewpoint of Disney Enchantment, complete with the synchronized music. The event continues inside following the show with petit-fours, cordials and coffee.

Celebration at the Top: 50th Flavors and Fireworks starts October 2, 2021 and reservations will become available beginning September 17.

Magic Kingdom Dessert Parties

At the Magic Kingdom, there will be three dessert party options available for viewing Disney Enchantment. Each event includes 50th anniversary-themed treats and will take place at different times throughout the evening at Tomorrowland Terrace. Treats will include things like chocolate-dipped strawberries, butterscotch pudding, plus a variety of cheeses. Drink selections will also be available, including an assortment of beer and wine for guests ages 21 and over. These dessert parties all start on October 3, 2021 with reservations available beginning Sept. 17.

Magic Kingdom 50th Fireworks Dessert Parties: Disney Enchantment Pre-Party

Guests will be able to enjoy desserts and beverages prior to the fireworks. Then, before the show begins, Cast Members will escort you to a reserved standing viewing location in one of the plaza gardens with prime viewing of Disney Enchantment.

Magic Kingdom 50th Fireworks Dessert Parties: Disney Enchantment After-Party

Like the Disney Enchantment Pre-Party, this experience includes reserved standing viewing of Disney Enchantment in one of the plaza gardens. Following the spectacular, Guests will be able to visit the Tomorrowland Terrace for 50th anniversary-themed desserts, a variety of cheeses and beverages, with selections of beer and wine included.

Ferrytale Fireworks: A Sparkling Dessert Cruise

EPCOT Dining Packages

Harmonious will also debut on World Showcase Lagoon at EPCOT beginning October 1. The show will feature choreographed moving fountains, lights, pyrotechnics and lasers in a 360-degree view, telling how Disney music and stories have the power to bring people from all around the world together to unlock the magic of possibility. There will be two new package options available at World Showcase restaurants. The dining packages start on October 1 and reservations will be available beginning September 23.

Rose & Crown Fireworks Dining Package

  • Do the dessert party ADR’s open only at 6am EST? Or have they been releasing intra-day? Looking for 1/26 – does Touring Plans support the reservation finding for this event? Thanks!

    • I am not sure, but from what I can tell, there is no set pattern and they can be released intra-day. I can’t answer for touringplans.com, but I believe when I was looking, there was not a way to request the dessert parties on this website. There are other websites that offer that service, but from what I can tell, it’s only sites that charge a fee. And, for these especially, you need to be by your phone ready for that alert and able to drop what you’re doing and book at anytime, if you decide to sign up for that service. Alternatively, I would recommend calling Disney directly and asking. They may be able to advise you better. I was only recently able to book for early January, so you may have at least a week or two more before late January opens up.

  • Thank you for this post! Similar to the previous comment, I am hoping to learn how timing works for more future dates becoming available. Currently, it looks like the latest date is only about 50 days out.

  • Any idea when dessert parties will open for past December 25th for the holidays?
