Flower and Garden Final Weekend

This is the final weekend of Epcot’s International Flower and Garden Festival (which ends on June 3, 2019). Hopefully you’ve had a chance to see the amazing beauty of this festival, but if you’re trying to squeeze in a trip for your first time–or for your last time–here’s the highlights.

What would a flower and garden festival be without flowers? Between the simply stunning flower carpets and the whimsical topiaries, there’s so much lush plant life to admire. Seriously, I can’t even keep grass alive in this kind of weather. Disney’s horticultural crew are simply magical!

Food and Drink

Frozen Dessert Violet Lemonade

A variety of new and returning dishes were available at this year’s Flower and Garden Festival. Did you try all the foods? Do you have a favorite that you hope returns for next year?

Spike’s Pollen-Nation Scavenger Hunt

This fun-for-all-ages activity allows you to explore the different festival gardens in a way that will keep everyone entertained. Read more about it here.

Butterfly Garden

The other day when I was at Epcot, the number of butterflies both in and out of the butterfly garden was impressive. While planning for a summertime vacation, one of the locations I was visiting charges extra for a similar butterfly garden experience, but this is included with your Epcot admission. Who doesn’t love butterflies?

Annual Passholder Magnet

Who doesn’t love free stuff from Disney? If you’re an annual passholder, this is your last chance to get your Daisy Duck passholder magnet. The magnet is available in Mouse Gear while supplies last.

And for a wrap-up of everything you should take time to see, make sure you read this edition of the SATURDAY SIX about what you should take the time to see.
