Galaxy’s Edge Store Preview: Toydarian Toymaker

We’re counting down the days until the official opening of Walt Disney World’s Galaxy’s Edge with a look at some of the sights that you’ll see in this new land. Shopping is a major part of this new land, and the best place to visit is the Market, which has several merchants. Next up, we’re showing you some of the merchandise you can find at the Toydarian Toymaker.

When merchandise reveals were happening before the opening of Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland, I was extremely excited about the merchandise here. Yes, it is mass-produced. But care has been taken to make many of the items here look like they are handmade, and that makes it very different from cheap-looking plastic toys that you can get elsewhere. From “homestyle”plush to “carved” wood toys to die-cast metal ships, these are great options for souvenirs. The collection is largely the same as what you’ll find on the west coast, although some items that I spotted in Disneyland are currently out of stock at Walt Disney World.

Here’s what you can expect in this shop.

  • Thought it looked pretty ragged until the bottom picture with the Dejarik (Holochess) set. What’s the price on that?

    • When it first came out, it was $50 — I know they’ve raised prices on a few things, but I believe that one is still at the $50 price point (which actually isn’t bad, in DisneyPrice!).
