We love how Disney is highlighting two of its great female chefs this month, in honor of Women’s History Month. Celebrate HERStory at Disney Springs honors this special month with specialty food, artists, performers, and more. At The Ganachery Chocolate Shoppe there are two specialty treats available this month only that have blown us away.

Chef Amanda Lauder has been at the helm of The Ganachery since its opening. Chef Lauder created her own special bonbons for the occasion as well as brought back a fan-favorite chocolate piñata. The Captain Marvel Chocolate Piñata is special not only because of the empowering character it represents, but because it filled with pecan toffee pieces. Most chocolate piñatas from The Ganachery are filled with marshmallow pieces. But these pecan toffee pieces are more flavorful and more indulgent.

At $28.00 it is pricey, but on par with past chocolate piñatas. Our team would argue the specialness of the Captain Marvel theme and toffee pieces make it a better value than other past piñatas. It certainly would make for a special gift or great to share with anyone in your life that makes you feel empowered.

Another special treat being offered this month are the Chef Toque Bonbons. These precious toque hat shaped bonbons are made with 65% dark chocolate and cherry gel and pistachio ganache. At $3.00 a piece they are an indulgent treat and one the best chocolates offered at The Ganachery.
