How to Complete the Festival of the Holidays Cookie Stroll
EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays begins this Friday, November 28th, and runs through Tuesday, December 30th. One of our favorite events during this Festival is the Cookie Stroll! If you haven’t had a chance to participate before, the Cookie Stroll is a way to get a prize for eating cookies. You’ll need to purchase and get stamps for 5 qualifying cookies at the Festival to claim your prize. Here is how it works:

Step 1, Obtain Festival Passport & flip to the back: they’re free and they’re everywhere. You can find Passports at both EPCOT entrances, at each of the outdoor kitchens, and almost all EPCOT merch locations. The back two pages will have your Cookie Stroll menu showing qualifying cookies and the page where you’ll get your stamps.

Step 2, Purchase cookies & get stamps: Purchase 5 cookies on the Stroll! You’ll see the cookie symbol on the menu boards and at kitchen registers. Have your Passport ready to hand to the Cast Member when you order. They’ll stamp a corresponding cookie symbol in the back of your passport.

Step 3, Head to Sweets and Treats to claim your prize! Sweets and Treats is located at the entrance to World Showcase as shown on the map above. If you’re only there for the Cookie Stroll redemption, don’t get in line to the right of the kitchen. Instead, head straight for the redemption window with your completed Passport. A Cast Member will stamp the final space on the back page of your book and you’ll receive your free gift.

The branded spatula pictured above is the prize this year. We’re happy to see the prize is a souvenir you can take home rather than a sundae in a plastic glass.
More Cookies, More Money
There were 9 qualifying cookies on the Stroll in 2024 and there are 13 this year. Some of the returning cookies have seen price hikes since last year, too. The median price for a Cookie Stroll cookie is $4.05 this year and it will cost you $52.53 to purchase all 13 eligible cookies. Tax is always included in the outdoor holiday kitchen Festival items. You will pay tax at the other locations like Sunshine Seasons and Connections Café.

A few notable price increases from 2024 include the Linzer cookie at the Bavaria kitchen. This cookie was $3.00 in 2023, $3.25 in 2024, and is $3.75 this year. While the center stamp used to be a star and is now shown as a Mickey head, it does not appear that anything else about this item has changed. Since this is always our favorite cookie of the Festival, we’re going to cautiously ignore the 25% increase in the last two years and just smile through the powdered sugar. Additionally, the Black and White cookie at L’Chaim! holiday kitchen was $3.00 in 2023, $3.25 in 2024, and is now $4.00 with one caveat! The cookie used to be the traditional round shape and is now a Mickey head. Is that worth the 33% increase since 2023? Since both cookies with the biggest price hikes have also changed from plain shapes into Mickey ears, it looks like we have to pay the premium to get prettier content for our socials. Sold.
