How to Play the Free Disney Lorcana Games at Festival of the Arts

The Disney Lorcana Trading Card Games are the highlight of opening day for EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts! There are two free Disney Lorcana games as part of the Festival – you can read about the basics here, but keep scrolling for a step-by-step of each game!

You’ll need a Festival Questbook for both the Ink & Find Scavenger Hunt and the Collection Quest. Questbooks are distributed at the Distribution kiosk pictured above on the bridge to World Showcase. Distribution begins at 9:00am and goes as long as supplies last for the day. Distribution stopped at 2:00pm on opening day of the Festival and will resume again at 9:00am the next morning.

You’ll be given 3 things at the Questbook distribution location. 

1. The Questbook – both games – Ink & Find and Collection Quest- are in this Questbook. The picture above shows the Ink & Find Scavenger Hunt portion of the book.
2. Booster pack of Disney Lorcana cards- the booster pack above (with the Mad Hatter) will be used for the Collection Quest.
3. Ink & Find Stickers – the gold rimmed stickers on the right of the image above are to be used for the Ink & Find Scavenger Hunt. This is a just like the other festival scavenger hunts! Use the guide, look for icons, match stickers to icons.

Ink & Find Step-by-Step

1. Search for the huge Disney Lorcana cards around the park like the Moana card above.
2. When you find a card, look for the corresponding space and sticker on the map portion of the Ink & Find section of your Questbook.
3. Complete the map as shown in the picture above. The Mulan sticker is on the Mulan space on the Questbook map.
4. Take your Questbook with the completed (all stickers filled in) Ink & Find map to either the Illumineer’s Lounge in the Morocco Pavilion or the Odyssey.
5. Present your completed map to a Disney Lorcana Game Cast Member – we went to the Odyssey to redeem our map.
6. The Cast Member will stamp / punch your map and you’ll be given your first limited-edition Magical Places promo card.

Collection Quest Step-by-Step

1. Turn to the Collection Quest section of your Questbook. One of the coolest things about this game is that there are different quests! Your Booster Pack won’t be exactly like the person in line behind you. Based on what we saw trading today, there are lots of different paths. Your “path” is the four cards pictured under the Collection Quest page in your book. See the page on the right of the book above – those were the four cards we needed.
2. Open the Booster Pack of cards you got at the distribution center. Each Booster Pack contains twelve cards and you probably won’t get the four you need but that’s where the fun comes in.
3. Trade! Use spare cards in your pack to trade for the four you need to complete your Collection Quest.
4. There are two ways to trade! We’re happy to say we saw guests trading cards ALL OVER EPCOT today! It was so neat to see people so excited about something free. If you’re not feeling up to conversation with strangers, you can head to the Morocco Pavilion.
5. The Illumineer’s Lounge is in the very back of the Morocco Pavilion and it’s open from 11:00am – 9:00pm daily. Anyone can enter the lounge – you don’t need to be an Annual Passholder or join a virtual queue. Once you’re inside the lounge, have a look at the trading board pictured below. There is a dedicated Cast Member there to assist with trades. If you’re confused or new to the world of Disney Lorcana, they will explain what you need, check out the cards you got in your Booster Pack, and help you find trades on the board.
6. Once you have the four cards that you needed in your Questbook, show the cards and your book to a Cast Member at the Illumineer’s Lounge in the Morocco Pavilion or in the Odyssey, and they will stamp / punch your card. Next, you’ll be given your second limited-edition Magical Places promo card! This is the gold rimmed card with Donald Duck, Pie Slinger.

This game was like Pokémon GO for Disney nerds (said as certified Disney nerds) and we’re so excited that everyone was so.. excited!
