I just can’t understand why someone would want to take a loaded gun into a theme park!!! Perhaps they should get more screening machines and screen everyone. It makes you wonder how many people actually manage to get into the parks with weapons if one of these people was only caught because luckily he was selected for the random screening!

The random metal detector screening isn’t in place to make the parks safe. Only to give the public a feeling that it is safe. In reality unfortunately, all the current setup is doing is deterring law abiding gun owners, and giving evil people a chance at roulette to get in and cause destruction. Criminals will always try to break the rules. Disney needs to go all out and require metal detectors for everyone. If not, at least allow law abiding citizens to protect themselves.
