In Case You Missed It – Disney and Universal Orlando News and Rumors

This week, Disney held their earnings call for the second quarter. What did you think of the news that came out?

In news that is not surprising, but disappointing, Disney will heavily reduce capital expenditures in the parks throughout 2020 during COVID-19 crisis.

Guests will be entering a Disney theme park finally, after months of closures….however it will be in Shanghai. I’m curious to see how this goes and what Disney may bring to their stateside theme parks moving forward.

For those who are anxious about the reopening of the theme parks, the Orlando Sentinel ran an interesting article sharing the thoughts of potential Guests.

This week is the 15th anniversary of the much loved, Stacey and her Must Dos! What is your favorite Stacey line?

Could Disney movies skip theaters moving forward? It appears that they are going to evaluate each of the films  as a case-by-case situation to see if more will make it straight to Disney+ or on-demand options.

Rumors are flying that Hayden Christensen may be returning as Anakin Skywalker in the upcoming Kenobi series. What do you think? Would you like to see him back?

Taika Waititi is slated to direct and co-write a new Star Wars feature film for theatrical release.

We’re getting closer to the She-Hulk series. All the scripts have been written for this upcoming Disney+ show.

    LOL Our first Disney World trip was in 2005 and Stacey has been our Must Do each trip! Nice to see her infectious joy each evening after 10 hours of Magic Kingdom!
