Items We Fell in Love With at Disney This Week, July 25, 2021

When the team is in the parks and at resorts, we love to duck into shops to see what the latest merchandise is — or just things that catch our interest. Here’s the items we spotted this week.

nuiMOs Loungefly Backpack

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, those little plush nuiMOs are better dressed and better accessorized than I can ever hope to be. The latest in the Gotta Get ‘Em All is a tiny Loungefly backpack perfect for nuiMOs (or other small plush. I wonder if Loungefly would be willing to make a matching one for us big kids?

Stitch Crashes Disney

I’m sure there’s a market on eBay and other places for the Stitch Crashes Disney collection, where every month Stitch somehow gets themed to some sort of Disney animated feature. This version is the Stitch Crashes Aladdin release. It’s creative, but I can’t decide if I like it or not. To me, Stitch is cute on his own and doesn’t need the overlay. One thing is certain, though — the bright colors really draw the eye to it.

Hunchback of Notre Dame Dooney & Bourke

A new Dooney & Bourke series has made its debut that pays homage to The Hunchback of Notre Dame with a purple stained-glass window look. I personally think there needs to be more Djali merchandise. Disney has the best goats.

Bonus: Trader Sam’s Reopens

Over at Disney’s Polynesian Resort, Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto has reopened, and that means a lot of the specialty drink glasses are available once again. Are you a fan of these?
