New MagicBands Add More Magic to Your Wrist

No Walt Disney World vacation is complete without the use of a MagicBand. And Disney has brilliantly monetized this accessory by offering a wide variety of Limited Release and other MagicBands for purchase.

During a recent visit to Disney’s Hollywood Studios we came across a few new designs. “Marie in Paris” as it is called is $24.99 and is a white base with pink silhouettes of Paris and Marie from the movie The Aristocats. It is the only one of the new releases available at shopDisney online.

A blue MagicBand features characters from the movie Pinocchio and an orange Limited Release MagicBand matches this radical 1980s-inspired apparel collection. There’s also a colorful new Mickey MagicBand with everyone’s favorite mouse looking a little bit impish.

Now that the Magic Bands have replaceable centers, I’ve found that I’m much more willing to buy a band vs just using a free one as I can swap out the center pucks with a free band ans reuse my bands indefinitely.
That Marie one is adorable as heck. And if anyone thinks a 300 lb man wearing a Marie MB is weird, tough! She’s cute and that’s that.
