New Pink Polka Dot Minnie Mouse Dress Dazzles at Disney Parks
Minnie Mouse is showing off her fashion prowess in this new dress we found at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Minnie’s iconic polka dots have been the center of attention with the Rock The Dots merchandise that hit the scene last year, and in a hot pink apparel collection that arrived a few weeks ago. Now in this latest piece, hot pink continues to dominate the scene with a French artistic flair.
Polka dots with a style that appears hand drawn is patterned on the skirt, shoulders, and back. A French-style sketch of Minnie Mouse is on the bottom of the skirt. A white bodice provides a nice contrast to the hot pink fabric with light pink dots. The price is $125, which is in line with other dresses of this style. I hate to be negative but has anyone noticed how the quality of fabric and the workmanship of clothing sold at Disney stores has really gone down? Years ago, I used to look forward to new offerings but when I actually view an clothing item, be it a dress, T-shirt, etc. in a Disney store I am quite disappointed in how cheap it looks. On my last trip to WDW in May, 2019 and DLR in Oct. 2017, I didn’t buy one clothing item which was not the usual case for this shopping enthusiast.
